This means that Lease a Bike will be seen on the shirts of Wout van Aert and Marianne Vos, among others, throughout the 2024 cycling season. The team was ranked No 1 in the world in 2023 and has two-time Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard on board again this season. The Tour of Flanders is Belgium's premier one-day cycling race, held annually in early April (usually on the 14th Sunday of the year). This year marks the 108th edition of the Tour of Flanders.
The 107th Giro d'Italia starts on May 4 and finishes in Rome on Sunday the 26th. Already in the first week there are two arrivals uphill. The 15th stage is, with 5,200 altimeters, the toughest of the race, after which the final week serves up three climbing finishes.
The Tour starts on Saturday 29 June and finishes on Sunday 21 July. As the Olympics are in Paris during the same period, there is no finish on the Champs-Élysées. Florence is hosting Le Grand Départ of the 111th Tour de France.
The Tour of Spain will start in Lisbon on 17 August and finish in Madrid on 8 September. The first three stages are all in Portugal and then the red caravan continues across Spain. There are a number of climbing finishes on the menu.
